Every year at Sandy B we select a beautiful and charismatic brand ambassador to be our Sandy B Girl. This year we held our #sandybgirl contest over the December holidays on Instagram. We had so many amazing entries that we decided to pick two winners. And so this year Tracey-Lee Rosslind and Kerry-Lee Cousins are our gorgeous Sandy B Girls.
For our Sandy B Girl photoshoot this year, both donned a range of stunning swimsuits from Beachcult swimwear and outfits from Tracy-Lee Rosslind’s personal collection. Hair and make-up were done by Tremayne West. The shoot also featured jewellery by Ora Sacred Muse and by Soul Design.
Jacques du Preez was the photographer for the shoot and captured gorgeous shots of these two stunners.
We got the chance to ask them a few questions and get some insight into how they are making the most of the summer season in Cape Town.
What are your beach day essentials?
Tracy: I never go to the beach without sunblock, lip balm and good beachwear.
Kerry: Same for me — a good sunblock and lip balm are essentials. I also love using some dry shampoo when leaving the beach as it gives wet hair that oomph it needs before heading out to cocktails.
What are some current fashion trends you are into?
Tracy: Fashion is always so important to me. As a stylist with my own styling company, I am very into local fashion, as well as conscious fashion.
Kerry: Right now I am really into pastels and the bell sleeves trend.
What is your tune for the summer?
Tracy: I am a huge hip-hop fan so anything in that genre.
Kerry: Currently, I am listening to the song Know No Better by Major Lazer.
What do you love about Sandy B?
Tracy: I love the vibe at Sandy B. It is always a treat. The atmosphere is incredible and so is the service and food. I always feel so special when I am here.
Kerry: The people, the food, the vibe and of course the location. Nothing beats Camps Bay.
